KOKRAJHAR, Feb 2: A marketing auction platform under Marketing Board was inaugurated at Bismuri along National Highway 31(C) by the Minister of WPT&BC and Agriculture Pramila Rani Brahma today.
Brahma in her speech said that the auction of all agricultural products would be made at the newly inaugurated marketing auction platform. She said that the new platform will ensure benefit to the farmers and would encourage them to enhance their productivities in the agricultural sector. Brahma called up on the farmers to stress on multiple cropping so that they can get more benefit from the limited agricultural land. The meeting was also addressed by the director of Agriculture, BTC Mr Debananda Mahanta and was attended by other senior BPF party leaders.
