MUSHALPUR, Oct 30 – The foundation stone of the office building of Manas Sousi Khongkhor Eco-tourism Society under Pratiddhani NGO at Uttarkuchi in Baksa district was laid by Banamali Boro, local MCLA in the presence of Bijoy Chowdhury, chairman of the NGO, local intellectuals and NGO workers on Friday.
The office building, estimated to cost Rs 2.50 lakh, is being built with the financial assistance of the BTC authority.
Meanwhile, the foundation stone of Uttarkuchi, Tuplia, Gerua Ashram, Zopadong and Sonapur Health Sub-Centre was laid by Maneswar Brahma, Barma MLA, on the same day.
