ROWTA CHARIALI, Nov 2: A tragic road accident occurred near Rowta outpost in Udalguri district which claimed the life of an youth on the NH-58 on October 31. One Ranjan Deka (30) and his friend Rajat Deka (28) from Jhargaon village were travelling towards Rowta Chariali and collided with a running tractor (AS-27-0126) from the back. Ranjan Deka was badly injured and was send to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. Rajat Deka has been reported to be in normal condition.
