Peace meeting held

PATHSALA, March 15: Considering the need for a peace process at different places of the State and especially at BTAD areas, a peace meeting was held recently at Labdangguri. The meeting was organized by Baksa district administration in collaboration with Green Manas Organization. The meeting was presided over by social activist Ananda Swargiary, where Baksa district DC Pranab Chandra Gohain, Mathanguri constituency MCL Makhan Swargiary, Shalbari SDO (C) Debajit Bora, EAC Gaya Prasad Agarwalla, Additional SP Mughkajyoti Mahanta, Commandant of 32 No Battalion of SSB SS Negi, and Shalbari subdivision SDPO Gunendra Deka presided over the meeting.Meanwhile the present members — Rajani Daimari, Satyendra Borkachari, Barbahadur Chetri, Bhagaban Swargiary and others urge upon the maintenance of peace, tranquillity and brotherhood prevalent in the locality from time immemorial.
