2nd Bhairabkunda Festival in January

UDALGURI, Nov 1: The committee of Bhairabkunda Tourist Centre has decided to hold the 2nd Bhairabkunda Festival in January. A decision to organize the festival was decided in a meeting which was presided by Rihon Daimary, the PHE Minister of Asom who is also the president of the Bhairabkunda Tourist Centre. It has also been decided to hold the festival annually. It may be mentioned here that the first Bhairabkunda Festival was held in 2005.

The meeting resolved to arrange picnic parking under the sponsorship of the Bhairabkunda Tourist Centre on account of providing all adequate facilities to tourists and picnic parties.
The BTC administration has already accorded permission relating to this matter. To supervise and execute the event, a committee with Elion Daimary, Anima Bayan and Dalim Bayan has also been formed.

The tourist centre committee has also decided to request the departments of tourism and culture to allocate adequate fund for the purpose. Robison Daimary, secretary, Bhairabkunda Tourist Centre stated this in a press release.
