ABSU unit at GU Kokrajhar campus formed

KOKRAJHAR, Dec 15: A new All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) unit at the Gauhati University, Kokrajhar campus, was formed at the campus recently under the initiative of the Kokrajhar district committee, ABSU.

Kalidas Brahma was selected as president of the new ABSU unit while Pradip Mashahary became the general secretary. The meeting was presided over by Mithinga Wary, president of the North Kokrajhar Anchalik committee, ABSU. The meeting was attended by the president and the general secretary of the KDC of the ABSU, Jiron Basumatary and Lawrence Islary.

Lecturers of the GU Kokrajhar campus, Aswini Goyary and ABSU debating secretary Jasa Manik Brahma were also present.
