GUWAHATI, Feb 2 – The 28th general conference of Assam Public Health Engineers’ Association will be held at Kaziranga on February 4-5.
The open session to be held on February 5 will be attended by Rihan Daimary, Minister of PHE as chief guest. Ajanta Neog, Minister, Social Welfare and Rockybul Hussain, Minister, of Environment and Forest will attend the open session as guests of honour a press release stated.
Dr Paruchuri Gangadhar Rao, director, North East Institute of Science and Technology will be the appointed speaker on the occasion.
Government has already granted special casual leave to the member-delegates to enable them to attend the general conference on February 4, 5 and 6, the release added.
